Project

Comprehensive Penetration Testing (Web, API, Network, WI-FI) and Phishing Simulation.

The objective

As a leading healthcare organization, Acibadem Cityclinic faces the dual challenge of protecting extremely sensitive patient data while maintaining continuous service delivery across a large, distributed network. The institution is obligated to adhere to stringent national and international regulations regarding data privacy and security, such as GDPR, NIS2 and relevant national healthcare data protection laws.

To maintain trust and compliance, Acibadem Cityclinic required a thorough assessment of its entire digital environment. This needed to be a multi-faceted project, covering the security of its public-facing web/API systems, internal network infrastructure, wireless security, and the human factor through social engineering. Finding a partner capable of executing this comprehensive scope efficiently and delivering clear, actionable results to diverse stakeholders was critical.

Our approach

Acibadem Cityclinic engaged PriorityZero to conduct a comprehensive security assessment program aimed at validating the security posture of its critical infrastructure and ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
PriorityZero executed the project within a tight timeframe of 30 days, delivering a multi-scope engagement that included:

  • Web and API Penetration Testing: Focused on securing patient portals and application interfaces handling sensitive PHI.
  • Network and WI-FI Penetration Testing: Verified the resilience of the internal infrastructure and wireless networks against unauthorized access.
  • Phishing Simulation: Tested the security awareness and response protocols of the staff to mitigate human-factor risks.

The Result

Following the initial testing, PriorityZero provided a concise report with detailed findings, supported by a clear executive summary for stakeholders and precise technical remediation steps for the security team. An employee training program was created, based on the results from our social engineering campaign. The engagement successfully concluded with a re-test, verifying that all identified vulnerabilities had been effectively remediated, thereby reinforcing Acibadem Cityclinic’s robust commitment to patient data security and regulatory compliance.
